After a phase of intensive on-the-job training, Praktiker executives are entrusted with very demanding tasks.
As a member of the Corporate Procurement Division, for example, you decide on the Praktiker range of goods. For this, you are responsible for analyzing the market, selecting suppliers and supervising the cost effectiveness of several classes of goods. You liaise with several other departments of our corporation.
As a member of the Category Management Division you decide on when Praktiker offers what. You analyze, administer and monitor our range of goods, coordinate and lead negotiations with suppliers, observe the market and are responsible for both pricing and presentation of goods. In addition to that you constantly optimize processes and are responsible for personnel.
