Berlin / Kirkel – April 7, 2009. Praktiker and MyHammer – two leading brands in the world of DIY and home improvement – have agreed a strategic partnership for the joint development and implementation of new marketing concepts. The cooperation starts this week with a first promotion campaign in the field of gardening. Those who award an order for gardening or landscaping work for a value of at least € 200 via MyHammer by April 30 will receive a € 20 voucher from Praktiker as a bonus.
This campaign addresses all those who would like to get professional help for the layout or enhancement of their gardens ahead of the upcoming outdoor season. Materials and accessories can be purchased with Praktiker. The gardeners and landscaping architects of MyHammer will then ensure the professional realization of the gardening project.
The campaign is launched on Thursday in the framework of Praktiker’s “Ärmel hoch” [roll up your sleeves] campaign and will be advertised in all advertising supplements, on the Internet on the Praktiker homepage and at the POS with flyers and posters. MyHammer will integrate this and future campaigns into its market place, support it also with online advertising and provide a special landing page on its website (www.myhammer.de/praktiker). Here, in addition to important information about the partner campaign, users can also find the template to be used to post their job.
This campaign represents the kick-off of a strategic partnership between MyHammer and Praktiker. The cooperation will benefit the customers of both companies: do-it-yourselfers can have those jobs which they cannot or do not want to do themselves professionally done by 200,000 qualified and rated MyHammer craftsmen. MyHammer customers can get the materials required fast and at attractive prices from one of the roughly 260 Praktiker stores in their vicinity.
