International Trainee Program.
|
Are you a person of action and determination, are you proactive and do you relish responsibility? Do you see our successful development and the increasing internationalization of our corporation as a personal challenge? Then the Praktiker corporation's "International Trainee Program" is the right program for you. It offers an intensive introduction, active participation in day-to-day business with a focus on the Sales, Internationalization, Corporate Procurement, Category Management and IT/Organization/Logistics Divisions. In addition to this you will be subject to on-the-job training, may participate in projects and see assignments with the most important corporate interface departments. You will become familiar with the basics of our international and growth-orientated corporation, and you will develop a deep understanding for process dynamics and internal correlations.

Program Profile.

- 12-16 months of intensive training in the following divisions: Organization, IT, logistics, Sales, Category Management, Corporate Procurement, Internationalization
- Acquiring/working on a project
- Own international assignment
- An experienced executive as your personal mentor
- Tandem partner (former trainee) as contact person at eye level
- Structured feedback at regular intervals
- Networking with other trainees
- After 12-16 months: assignment of a responsible specialist or executive function in our corporation

Requirements.
|
- University/University of Applied Science/University of Cooperative Education degree (excellent grades); an international focus (Eastern Europe) is an asset
- Excellent command of English and German
- Aptitude for Sales/Commerce; previous experience in the trade sector (internship, vocational training) is an asset
